Battle

There's only one thing that a warrior needs
Battle is the essence upon which he feeds
Though down the path to death it leads
It's the only call that he heeds

The lust for battle burns hot like a fire
The blood and the rage we warriors desire
In the madness of war we shall never tire
As we carve a bloody path to our own burning pyre

Raise your voices high in the battle song
Cause the earth to shake as we're standing strong
Make your praise to the gods to which our souls belong
Show the fools who stand before us how they have chosen wrong

Raise your fists and blades in to the reddening sky
Charge forth and unleash your battle cry
Scream to all before us that their end is nigh
We live for the battle until the moment we die
 
For glory and death are what we crave
We crash into the battle like a thundering wave
In the songs of our skalds will our names be engraved
And we shall live forever from beyond the grave
